Cassandra (Sandy) J. Harris was born on October 21, 1977. She received her B.S. degree (cum laude) in political science from the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama, in December of 2000. She received her J.D. degree (cum laude) from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi, in 2004. While at Mississippi College School of Law, she served as Vice-Chair of Competition for the Moot Court Board. Following her graduation, she clerked for Chief Justice James W. Smith, Jr. of the Mississippi Supreme Court. Ms. Harris is licensed to practice law in the states of Mississippi and Alabama. She is an associate with the firm, Galese & Ingram, P.C.
